Dineo Ranaka's 'drama-filled' life has fans praying for her

Dineo Ranaka‚ who was once known for her wild outbursts and public feuds‚ previously revealed that she has turned to prayer to help her deal with some of her biggest difficulties. And while she prays for herself, some of her fans have also looked to religion to "help" her.

During an interview on Cliffcentral with Gareth Cliff on Tuesday morning, the TV personality explained that she often gets stopped by fans in public areas, saying they pray for her.

"I have people that stop and pray for me," she said, adding that this usually occurs when she's out shopping or at the filling station.

"I'll be doing grocery shopping with my kids or my friends, or I'll be pouring gas at the gas station and people are on some: 'You know Dineo, we need to pray. Things get better.' Like my life is a disaster."

And while this may be a bit off-putting, Dineo revealed that she "entertains" all those strange encounters.

"I always say, you never know where your positive energy that you really need for whatever one moment in your life may come from. So I entertain every one of them."

"Those that want to pray with me, I stop and I pray with them," she told Gareth, before admitting that while she prays with them, she's often laughing inside.

Speaking to Sunday World a few months ago, Dineo opened up about her religious beliefs, saying she's a "God-fearing woman" in an interview centred around her "alcohol and intercourse fast."

"I pray. I still have both my parents who have helped me raise my kids. They made me a better parent. I don't see myself as a single parent. I have my flaws. I'm imperfect but I was born to be excellent in all that I do‚" she said.
